Blue Willow Mercantile was founded over ten years ago. Brenda was an avid quilter and crafter but wanted a different in-store experience. Burnt out by giant factory-like stores, she wanted to create a welcoming environment that felt like home from the moment you walked in. From that, Blue Willow Mercantile was born. 

Blue Willow Mercantile provides all your high quality quilting needs. Our website offers quick shipping for inexpensive rates. We have a talented staff who are excited to use their knowledge of sewing and machines to guide you in the best direction for your project or question. 

Our Wheaton store has been open for over 5 years and we have expanded and are at a new location. This is where you can find fabrics: discounted and brand new lines. Many are 100% high quality quilting cottons. We also offer expert machine repair services. Our top service repairman has 20 years of experience and welcomes all makes and models of machines. He is considered the best in the state. He is quick, knowledgeable and experienced. We carry Babylock, Janome, Viking, and Handiquilter in this location. Stop by to see some longarms in action as well!

Our St. Charles location is officially closed as of September 17th, 2022. We appreciate all of our customers who shopped with us at this store. We are transitioning and will post updates as soon as we have them!
